This summer is flying by and it’s almost time for the 4th of July here in the United States. Soon we’ll be enjoying fireworks, parades, some good barbecue, and time with friends and family as my family celebrates the holiday.
I’m loving this easy DIY patriotic banner for a fun, simple holiday decoration! To create this project, you’ll create the burlap banner and then add the letters in red, white, and blue fabrics. We’ll use HeatnBond Ultrahold, an iron-on fabric adhesive and a glue gun to make this a no-sew project. You can find HeatnBond Ultrahold in your local fabric store or here. You’ll finish off the banner by adding ribbon and any embellishments you’d like.
This is also a fun project to do with crafty friends at a party! You can download the banner directions and patterns here. There’s also SVG files available to use if you have a die cutting machine that will cut fabric. Enjoy!
